Description: Prostitute Marina, after running away from an orphanage, walks the streets along the port of Piraeus. She meets a young musician, Orfeas, who makes the rounds of the various nightclubs playing the bouzouki. A passionate love grows between them. During a police raid on the clubs in the port, Marina is arrested and, as a minor, is sent back to the reformatory. Orfeas helps her escape, and they flee to a ship scrapyard in Perama. When Marina’s fugitive brother, the rebel Miltos, finds out where his sister is hiding, he tracks her down, steals her savings and escapes abroad.
